Trusting people who know nothing

Trusting people who know nothing daviz

Social media gave us a massive microphone.
And sometimes it seems like some people have forgotten to let go of the talk button.

We live in an endless talk show, with opinions on everything: politics, science, health... you name it. And that's fine. We all have the right to our opinion.

The problem starts when people stop sharing opinions and start preaching their own truth. Because often it doesn't matter if you actually know what you're talking about or not: as long as you say it with confidence, it seems to be enough.

I suppose that's why it's getting harder and harder for me to tell who knows their stuff and who just sounds convincing.

Meanwhile, scientific evidence has to compete with conspiracy theories from crackpots who are only looking to go viral and sell you a course on how to become the "best version of yourself."

Just in case, I'll stick with the people who know how to say, "I have no idea."
